Pierson Backes was born in Trenton, New Jersey and is admitted to the bar in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. His undergraduate degree is from Hamilton College (B.A., Honors) and he received his J.D. cum laude from Temple University. He served as a member and editor of the Temple University Law Review. He is a member of the Mercer County Bar Association and New Jersey State Bar Association. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Northeast Organic Farming Association – NJ , and Headlong Dance Theater , and is a former member of the West Amwell Township Planning Board . He is the author of the firm’s Probate and Estate Litigation Reader.

Deborah L. GnattDEBORAH L. GNATT

Deborah Gnatt is admitted to the bar in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She received a B.A. in Psychology with Honors from Douglas College, Rutgers University, and her J.D. from Rutgers Law School – Camden. Deborah practiced as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey for over twenty-five years, with a focus on civil rights and employment litigation and EEO matters. Deborah is a member of the Pennington Borough Council and Pennington Planning and Zoning Board, and a former President and Trustee of the Hopewell Valley Central High School PTO.

Andrea Lodahl Henneman is admitted to the bar in New Jersey and New York. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University magna cum laude and her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. She practiced in transactional groups at large firms in Chicago and New York, as well as with local firms in Princeton, New Jersey focused in real estate, land use and environmental law. Andrea is a former Trustee of Princeton Charter School and former officer of Hunterdon Hills Pony Club.

Kevin Pollock holds both a J.D. and LL.M. in taxation, and is admitted to the bar in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Florida. He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers College and his J.D. from Tulane University, and earned his LL.M. from New York University Law School. He is a member of the Mercer County Bar Association and New Jersey State Bar Association. Having studied at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan, he speaks Japanese. He is a former member of the Lawrence Township Board of Education and is the co-chair of the Planned Giving Committee for the Children’s Home Society of New Jersey.
